What is desire? Desire is an instinct that arises in human nature when we meet our desired expectations.
This instinct is inseparable from our material and spiritual aspirations, preferences and pursuits.
Thus, human beings have a variety of instincts because they want to survive, to last and to thrive. Human instincts and desires are also infinite, and after the goal pursued has just met the expected expectations, it changes because of the shifts that occur due to various factors, giving rise to different instincts and desires again.

For this reason I decided to design a city of desires and needs, which is the city of desire in the zine book story. A city where people are free to let their nature out, that is, where they can satisfy all their desires as they wish.

And Wuyu was born, which in Chinese means without desire. She lived an ordinary life in an ordinary family, just like us, until she entered the city of desire by accident and met the devil. The demon in my story is not like the other demons, he is straight, and wants the protagonist, Wuyu, to "really become a human", a human who can learn to enjoy life.

Every day the devil takes Wuyu to experience many new and strange things, even if Wuyu is reluctant at first. However, as time passes, Wuyu comes to understand that she likes this life and realises the changes that the demon brings to her. She realises that her purpose in life is to keep loving life and living it happily as she has always done.
Human desires and life goals, meaning are sometimes inextricably linked. It is precisely because a person develops a certain desire that he gathers the energy to set his goals. At the end of the story, Wuyu finally returns to her human form and expresses her heartfelt gratitude to the demons who have been helping her.

It is a warm little story that takes place in such a city of desire. But it actually has a hint of a connection to my own experience as well. For this reason that I wish to express my own desire through such a short story: always smile when you are in trouble and enjoy life, even in the most difficult times, because there will certainly be someone by your side to encourage you and support you.
